Roles & Responsibilities: PDTX (Per Diem Therapy Xperts) is a healthcare staffing agency hiring on behalf of our client for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Palm Desert, CA (skilled nursing facility). Deliver OT treatment under the plan of care set by the supervising OT; train patients in ADLs, fine motor and functional skills; track and report progress to the OT; complete accurate daily documentation; educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques. Requirements: active California OTA/COTA license; current CPR/BLS | Location: Palm Desert, California · skilled nursing facility · Part-time · Local contract (temporary) · Start: ASAP; assignment through 2/1/2027 | Rates: $1,140–$1,350/wk; Guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week | Benefits: Not provided by employer
